Tree of Hands,Don't Be Deceived, Mixed Media Monday

This week I have again done a ATC,ACEO card. The theme is hands which I have added to a hand painted card. The back ground and tree are acrylic paint. Vintage ephemera hands have been added along with lettering. The entire card has then been covered with heavy gel matte to add texture. Measures 2 1/2 by 3 1/2

ATC Inspirational Words,Mixed Media Monday

Hi, here is my entry for this weeks Mixed Media Monday. I have made an ATC using vintage ephemera, postage stamp and plastic heart. The background was stamped with writing to add to the word effects. Covered with clear gel medium. Hope you enjoy.

Mixed Media Monday,Stripes,Polka Dots

Here is my take on stripes and polka dots. This is a 16 x 20 canvas. I have used mainly acrylics with some fabric paints and alcohol inks. The title of the peice is Uninvited Lunch Guest. If you look closely in the upper branches you will see two little bugs....no appreciating the lizard intruder. Some of the acrylics I have thinned down to be like water color as I wanted the background to be part of the overall peice. Thanks for looking

Beauty is Decieving- Acrylic Painting

This piece measures 12x9 and is on canvas. It is comprised of acrylic paints, fabric paint, the worm is clay, the metal hook, and clear marbles.

This piece is titled,"Forgotten Family" It is a 4x6 canvas card, with vintage photo negative, vintage postcard and stamps. Also acrylic paints, alcohol inks, buttons and pressed flower.
