Bowl made of Material
This piece was crafted using material cut into squares. Material is fashioned into this lovely bowl using an adhesive. Inside this bowl at the bottom is a beautiful butterfly transfer. With the use of adhesive the bowl is firm but still has the quality of material. This would be beautiful with some primitive bowl fillers. This bowl will not hold liquid and is for decorative use.
The overall size of this adorable bowl is 8 1/2 in diameter by 3 in tall.

Mixed Media Monday Oriental Theme
This weeks mixed media theme is oriental. Here is my submission. I have taken a 5x7 canvas added original vintage postcards including the background of an oriental building original purple stamp. I have added pieces of another oriental postcard. Added some acrylic paint, chalk, postage stamp, buttons, flower and a butterfly. One clear floral glass was added over one of the oriental people in the postcard to enhance its viewing. Thanks for looking and hope you enjoy

Flowers for Holly's Birthday
Holly turned 16 on the 22nd of March. We had a sweet 16 party for her and we wanted to make something for all the guests that attended. Holly and I decided we would make roses for all. They were a nice center piece on the tables and then each guest was able to pick their favorite to take home.
Each flower is make out of crepe paper and then dipped in slow cast and sprayed with matte acrylic. They looked so pretty. We picked up some oil cruets from the dollar store to use as the vases.
